These are some ways to level classes faster from the new crew member solo quests introduced with voyage #8:
- do the new solo quests throughout the voyage, you must be boarded to do them (use !sub board <class>)
- I gained 4,455 XP in one voyage across the three main classes (Military, Science, Navigation) -- see screenshot, you can see the quest page here:
https://aikillsband.com/games/submariner/inventory/quests -- these quests are dynamically generated so ones turned in (!sub quest turnin) faster will go down in value to a floor amount and those that take longer will increase in XP value over time. Those with more tasks (EXAMPLE. 5 !sub fish vs. 2 !sub fish should/will pay more XP)
- when accepting quests, you earn more XP if you complete during the same voyage, be aware some quests either cannot be completed at all during a single voyage or will be very difficult, learn which ones those are and avoid them unless the multi-voyage is very high XP amount. You can schedule a multi-voyage quest at the end before we dock the sub and work on some of those quests when the sub is docked between voyages like creature lab, auction quests, and so on.
- those that are @Twitch Subscriber or @VIP or both -- bank your daily wheel spins and save them for each voyage. If you are both Twitch Subscriber and VIP you can bank up to 14 wheel spins. Free members can only have 1 spin at a time in reserve, it's another reason to be/stay subscribed. Wheel spins are easy/fast to do during the voyages, earn you bonus SP, BSP and some pay up to 300XP for just redeeming them during live voyages
- Unless you are cook or historian (don't switch classes if you play these, because you cannot switch back to them) - you can switch between the three main classes (15 AP/SP) with !sub class <new class> .. when you accept a quest under a class you earn the XP for that class, so this is a way to spread around XP gain without playing just one class at a time
