Historian

The crew's chronicler — you don't fight or gather, you document the voyage, and it pays off for everyone aboard.

What This Class Does

Historian is the odd one out: no fighting, no gathering. Instead, Historian records the voyage as it happens — noteworthy moments, reviews of how crewmates performed, and reactions to the music. Historian perks are unusual too: instead of personal combat bonuses, a ranked Historian's perks benefit the WHOLE crew, not just themselves.

Basic Actions
!sub log <note>
Record a noteworthy moment from the voyage, free of cost.
!sub review <crewmate> <text>
Write a review of a crew member's run — one per person per voyage.
!sub rate <1-10>
Rate the currently playing song — one per song.
Leveling Up

All three Historian actions are free, but naturally rate-limited, which makes Historian the slowest class to rank up even when you're using it constantly. What you get in return: a ranked Historian's perks apply crew-wide, and stack with other Historians aboard.

Slotting a Fish

Once ranked up enough, slot a Historian-flavored fish with !sub slot historian <fish> — it earns bonus XP alongside your own logging/reviewing, and leveling it up unlocks small permanent perks on your own Historian spec tree via !sub spec historian.

The Other Classes
This is the short version. For the full command reference, mission mechanics, and everything else that happens on a voyage, see the complete How To Play guide.
