Navigation

The crew's pathfinder — you steer the sub into deeper, more dangerous water, and scout the way ahead.
!sub board nav
What This Class Does

Navigation charts the voyage's course. Steering the sub deeper unlocks tougher, more valuable creatures for everyone — but deeper water is also riskier. Navigation has its own tools to make that risk more manageable, and once deep enough, Navigation can also pull minerals straight out of the seafloor.

Basic Actions
!sub steer <deeper|shallower>
Cast a vote to shift the sub's depth. Enough votes in the same direction actually moves it.
!sub mining [node#] / !sub survey [depth#]
Extract minerals once deep enough, or scout a deeper depth's nodes early from shallower water.
!sub map / !sub vibe
Navigation-only. !sub map softens the extra risk of hunting in deep water; !sub vibe can pacify an active boss mid-fight, buying the crew a breather.
Leveling Up

Steering, mining, and surveying all build your Navigation rank. A higher rank strengthens Navigation's own perks and raises the ceiling on which rarity of fish you're allowed to slot.

Slotting a Fish

Once ranked up enough, slot a Navigation-flavored fish with !sub slot navigation <fish> — it earns bonus XP alongside your own steering/mining, and leveling it up unlocks small permanent perks on your own Navigation spec tree via !sub spec navigation.
