Submariner — Ocean Map

The Drowned Harvest begins immediately after the events of Hallowed Veins. The Submariner follows the impossible orange fissures east across the Indian Ocean floor, expecting them eventually to disappear. Instead, they multiply. The glowing veins converge on a sprawling region where the seabed has been overtaken by enormous colonies of the impossible organisms first encountered during Hallowed Veins: seawater pumpkins. Some are the size of ordinary pumpkins. Others are as large as houses. At greater depths, entire valleys are covered with them, interconnected by black root-like tendrils that descend through cracks in the ocean floor. And they are growing. Spectral predators patrol the colonies as though protecting them. Wrecked vessels have become entangled in the roots. Ancient ruins appear beneath the largest patches. Even stranger, the pumpkins seem to contain biological material collected from creatures—and perhaps people—that died in the surrounding ocean.
