Submariner — Sea Life

The Brinecrown Dreadmaw is a trench-born siege predator wrapped in pressure-hardened shell plates and crowned with calcified wreckage. It does not chase submarines so much as wait for hull fatigue, listening for the groan of stressed metal before rising out of the black water mouth-first. Crews that survive a Dreadmaw encounter report deep scrape marks across the outer hull, as if the beast was not trying to kill them yet, only learning where the vessel would split next time.
